National History Day Elective Participants

Field Trip to WI Historical Society

Friday, Dec. 5, 8 a.m – 12 p.m.

According to Wisconsin Historical Society

On this Field Trip, students will:

Learn how to conduct self-directed research on topics in North American history;

Be trained to effectively use the society’s library and archives;

Experience using computers and talking to reference staff to find books and collection records.

Savanna Sanders ’28 is in her fifth year at MCDS. She’s adding newspaper to her long list of extracurriculars, which include basketball, theater, singing, art, and Model UN. Her main goal for this school year is to get good grades in biology and environmental science. If Sanders were a candy, she would be jelly beans!
